Description Located on 450 lakefront acres in New Hampshire, The Wediko School is a residential treatment center offering therapeutic and educational services for middle and high school aged boys experiencing significant social-emotional, behavioral, and educational challengesThe program is seeking an Operations Manager/HR Generalist for their Hillsborough campusUnder the direction of the Co-Directors, the Operations Manager/HR Generalist assist in the provision of administrative, programmatic and budgetary oversightOversee non-clinical program functions including accounts payable/receivable, information systems, human resources and facility operationsAssist in developing/implementing protocols, procedures and new initiatives as neededHow You'll Be Making a Difference Assist in the development and oversight of annual operating budget for the ProgramMonitor performance against approved budget allocations and investigate variancesCoordinate and approve program expenditures in conjunction with the Program DirectorAlerts Co-Directors and VP of HR to issues or problems relative to employment/employee relationsWhen presented with a complex ER issue is able to problem-solve to develop an appropriate solution to address issueAssist in the review, implementation and enforcement of Program protocols and proceduresThis includes program evaluation standards and procedures as well as implementing actions required by Performance and Outcomes, Utilization Review and licensing/accreditation bodiesDemonstrates understanding of Human Resources Policies/Employment law and regulations within the state of New Hampshire and applies appropriatelyAdvises and assists management staff in the application and interpretation of personnel policiesFacilitates resolution of employee relations issues and supports management in executing progressive discipline and performance improvement plansResponds to needs of managers and employees in a timely mannerAssess, develop and implement Program services appropriate to scope and level of client care requiredCoordinate and integrate services and resources to ensure effective plan of treatment for clientsPlan and improve services according to client needsFocus on positive client outcomesAssist Program Director to ensure program meets licensing and accreditation requirements of all local, state and federal governing bodiesEnsure that the program's physical environment of care routinely operates within the guidelines and mission of the Home to provide healthy development and optimal care for its children at risk, their families and their communitiesProvide on-site assistance to personnel as a member of the Human Resources teamCoordinate all Human Resource functions and communication with HR department, including benefit administration, compensation and upkeep of personnel filesConduct HR functions within process of hiring, performance management, termination and changes in status of personnelAssist with worker's compensation process, ensure that injury reports are completed and work in collaboration with other HR personnel around the claims processAct as the liaison with the Accounting and Finance DepartmentImplement systems to ensure accounts receivable and payable activities are tracked accurately and submitted for approval and payment in a timely mannerOversee processing of payroll and periodically review FTE allocations for accuracyProvide on site assistance to personnel as the liaison with the training departmentDevelop and maintain effective tracking system and assist Department Heads in ensuring adequate and timely completion of training requirements by personnelIn collaboration with the Program Director, provide on site assistance to personnel as the liaison with the Clinical Quality and Outcomes DepartmentImplement and ensure functionality of electronic information systems including, client information databases, incident reporting, electronic record keeping and outcome measuresMaintain Program protocol manualAssist Co-Directors in ensuring systematic procedure for development and communication of new program guidelines as well as periodic review and revision of existing proceduresProvide effective means of timely and thorough communication of client service delivery and billing information between the Program, departments, and funding agenciesAssist in the RFR processOversee all ordering of program supplies and maintain records of all expenditures, requisitions and purchase ordersMaintain petty cash system for the programAssist Program Director and Department Heads in development of proposals, community-based programs and funding that support the treatment mission of the ProgramDevelop and maintain systems to track client demographic and statistical informationGenerate reports as related to outcome-based service delivery and areas of risk management, including monthly quarterly and biannual/annual reports to departments, funders and EECServe as the Human Rights Coordinator, supervise Human Rights Officer and perform related functionsDevelop and maintain contracts and relationship with suitable vendors and service contractors to ensure consistent operational functioning of facility including security, climate control, repair, housekeeping, food service, information and office systems, etcAssist in the planning and implementation of client, family, community and employee special eventsSupervise Administrative Assistant and/or Office Manager and oversee all responsibilities and functions of these rolesPerform special projects and other duties as assignedQualifications Five years experience combined in operations and human resources preferredWork experience in child/adolescent mental health or hospital setting preferredTwo years supervisory or human resources experience requiredStrong organizational, interpersonal skills and communication skills requiredComputer literate including Microsoft
