Description This position is eligible for an up to $2500 sign-on bonus! Master's Level Social Workers are an integral part of our well-established program of social workers, psychologists, family therapists, educators, and allied health professionals serving adolescents and their families at the Wediko School in Hillsborough, NHCome work with a diverse and dynamic team in the beautiful woodlands setting by the shores of Black Pond! The clinician will collaborate with the residential treatment team in line with the milieu-based therapy provided by the Wediko School programSupervision hours toward licensure providedCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits! Located on 450 lakefront acres in New Hampshire, The Wediko School is a residential treatment center offering therapeutic and educational services for middle and high school aged kids experiencing significant social-emotional, behavioral, and educational challengesHow You'll Be Making A Difference Social Workers will be developing and implementing Individual Treatment Plans for youth which includes but is not limited to:
Providing weekly family and individual therapy sessions for an assigned case load of studentsPlanning for and facilitating weekly group therapyProviding clinical consultation to Dorm Supervisors, Lead Staff and Residential Counselors to align with treatment plansModeling appropriate interactions between staff and students in a variety of situationsMaintaining weekly contact with parents, school districts, educational consultants and other external team membersIntervening during a crisis including emergency family meetings, team meetings, hospitalization, milieu interventionsAttending and participating in program-wide meetings that include weekly treatment team meetings and staff briefingsAdditionally, participating in weekly group supervision of family therapists, program development meetings and weekly individual supervisionProviding on-going administrative functions around students in the group involving:
Coordinating mental health treatment with all outside agencies e.g., meetings, phone calls, 30-day treatment meetingNetworking with other team members, coordinating team mental health treatment approaches within the program to ensure continuity of services; this includes the Clinical Director, the Residential Director, the Academic Director, the Program Coordinators and the School PrincipalImplementing and coordinating any transition planningCoordinating transportation for students on an as-needed basis for appointments and home visitsAdditional Functions responsible for:
Responsible for on-call family support-line phone rotationMaintaining regular consultation with outside school districtsCollaborating with other Wediko staff around youth treatment goalsPerforming any other duties as required by the Clinical DirectorMaintaining case files, which include treatment plans, mental health clinical notes, clinical progress reports, court reports and discharge summaries in a timely mannerQualifications Minimum of a master's degree in Psychology, Social Work or related fieldExperience working with children/familiesSome incumbents in this role may focus on substance abuse treatment based on site needs and credentialsFlexible with responsibilities and scheduleRelocation assistance stipend availableAbilities Required:
